DevOps Engineer
Run the infrastructure behind the payment and crypto platforms we deliver: cloud, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability and security, set up so every client launch is repeatable.
About the role
Every platform we deliver runs on infrastructure we set up, often in the client's own cloud account, and a new launch should take days, not months. That only works when environments are code, deployments are boring and monitoring catches problems before customers do.
You will own that: the Terraform and Kubernetes behind our platforms, the pipelines that build and ship them, the logs, metrics and alerts that tell us how they run, and the security controls that payment and crypto products need.
You will work with backend, mobile and web engineers to make the right way to ship also the easy way, and you will help clients' teams take over their platform at handover.
What you will do
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform, on AWS, Google Cloud or Azure, often in the client's own account
- Run Kubernetes clusters and the services on them: deployments, scaling, upgrades and cost
- Own the CI/CD pipelines for our backend, web and mobile apps
- Set up logging, metrics, tracing and alerting, and take part in incident response
- Apply security best practice: secrets management, network policies, backups and least-privilege access
- Document environments so a client's team can run their platform after handover
What we look for
- 3+ years in a DevOps, SRE or platform engineering role
- Production experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Infrastructure as code with Terraform (or similar) on at least one major cloud
- CI/CD pipelines: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or similar
- Monitoring and observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry or similar
- Linux, networking and scripting in Bash, Python or Go
Nice to have
- Regulated environments: PCI DSS, ISO 27001 or SOC 2
- Running PostgreSQL, Kafka or blockchain nodes in production
- Cloudflare, Vault, Argo CD or Helm
- Keeping costs in check across several cloud accounts
