COOKIES & ANALYTICS
What we measure, and what you can switch off.
Always on, and cookieless
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views, referrers and countries. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not track you across other websites. There is nothing here to opt out of, and no way for us to identify you from it.
Only with your consent
These set cookies and load only after you accept their category, and each category is asked separately. Decline one and its tools are never requested at all - not blocked after loading, simply never fetched.
Analytics, with your consent
How the site is used: which pages are read and where visitors come from.
| Tool | What it is for | Cookies | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Which pages are read, which sources bring visitors, and which of those visitors go on to contact us. | _ga, _ga_* | Up to 2 years |
Changing your mind
Your choice is stored in your browser, not in a cookie, and applies to this site only. You can change it at any time, for each category separately. Withdrawing a category also deletes the cookies its tools have already set, and reloads the page so nothing of them is left running.
The contact form
What you type into the contact form is sent to us so we can reply. We keep enquiries for twelve months and then delete them automatically. Visitor IP addresses attached to a submission are stored hashed, for spam and rate limiting only.
